I want to save that 1977 Volvo 245 DL so bad. PKD 683S last V5C issued February 2005.

The two children were playing inside a big inflatable ball that was floating on a big pool when a strong wind lifted the ball from the water and smashed it onto a metallic barrier about 30 meters away. The two children were immediately rushed to “Paidon” hospital, in Athens Greece. After suffering serious head injuries, the boy was unconscious when he arrived at the hospital. The doctors immediately proceeded with resuscitation efforts, which unfortunately brought no result. The 9 year-old girl was admitted to the ICU where she was diagnosed with severe lung contusion.

As always lads a first class explore with 1st class video and editing. Loved that an increased level of interaction between you was included which gave the feel of being there with you. Really sad what happened with the tragic accident hence its closure, but also surprised that in the commercial world we live, that someone hasn't bought and reopened it with some clever marketing to get it popular again. The injury/fatality wasn't due to the slides, but rather, an inflatable ball which got picked up by wind crushing the two occupants, one fatal, one severely. The owners were arrested & charged with negligent homicide in the end. (Greek Reporter, April 28, 2014)

Ahh the old gym we did loads of stuff here so we'd get out of cells the mens jails would come over and use the gym and pool

Sadly I witnessed many abusive situations I watched well the whole jail did really the screws dragging a women who was pregnant and having a miscarriage down to the block because they didn't beleive her and thought sh3d harmed herself ... in 95 qhen I was in the infamous Rose West came in by cover of darkness to the block shed be walked over to the pool every day she would sit at her desk infant of window reading .. in gardens we did Womblerling which if you know the wombles it's litter picking we was doing the block as red bands trusted ... and I looked up and she was their looking over top of her book madness ..... they must've improved the hospital and mother and babies unit as in the 90s it wasn't good at all

Wow some new bits the bit with the fancy windows was the new hospital and detox wing the one with toilet half wall was cat A in the 90s I went here D1 North first which was detox wing .. then I went to A3 tingle cell but those grey things on windows they weren't like that then you could open one small bit of window would open not wide enough to get your whole arm out I worked in garden and I'm gutted lol as we made them so nice .....

This just makes me sad

I always find it intersting that bulletin board stuff is left up. I used to teach. If I had to leave one school because a new one was opening, I would take my stuff with me to use in the new school. Maybe in England the teachers to have to purchase their own items, but I did so I would not leave them behind!!

That brought back some memorys if my memory serves me correct it was painted brilliant white and looked in good condition almost ready to go asteern and sail off into the sunset when it first arrived, Sadly the Council and the Fire Brigade killed it off which is a little sad because the thriving market etc were bringing the crowds. Shame you could not vidio the engine room etc but i imagine its been stripped out of any value by now. What we see here is a rusting hulk with very little value and will end up being cut up for scrap in the very near future, I just hope the council gets the bill . The old owners had some great plans to open it up to the public but i feel it was done on the cheap hence why the council / fire brigade dug there heels into the ground and killed off every idea produced to them.
